What?

Future Talk is for Grade 7’s at Westlake Primary. Small groups sessions facilitated by mentors, creating a safe environment to discuss and share life. At a time when many young teenager are faced with many choices, the Future Talk programme aims to assist learners to make good decisions about their future and encourages them to build a meaningful relationship with God and one another.

Why?

To guide students to make positive decisions now about their daily lives so they have a much brighter and positive future. To see transformation in students lives so they can transform their community around them with the love of Jesus. To see students have real authentic relationship with God and disciple them to become mature disciples of Christ. To see the Kingdom of God come in the schools.

How?

Through weekly sessions with Grade 7 learners at Westlake and Capricorn Primary, Ronald and his team facilitate Life skills training using motivational talks, games and group time and they facilitate Bible study groups though the use Youth Alpha Course.

An annual camp and a day away form an important part of the Future Talk programme.
